Calif. Senate Approves Single-Payer Health Insurance Bill

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The California Senate approved SB-562, a bill to provide single-payer health insurance, by a vote of 23-14 Thursday afternoon.

The passage followed several hours of debate.
