FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Covered California health premiums will rise by an average of 4% next year.
Director Peter Lee says it’s a slight decrease from the jump seen in 2015, and is proof that the Affordable Care Act is working.
The state actively uses its size and the heath enrollees to negotiate prices, and implements standardized benefits on participating plans.
