ORANGE COVE, CA (KMJ) – A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly committing two murders in Orange Cove.
Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Jairo Mancilla for allegedly shooting and killing 27-year-old Alex Esquivel and 24-year-old Javier Lizaola back on March 10th.
Detectives say they found the men after two juveniles said they heard gunshots, and found two men injured. The juveniles went home and told their parents, who called police to investigate. Esquivel and Lizaola were dead when authorities arrived.
This investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
