FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The majority of Californians are in favor of providing taxpayer-funded vouchers, to parents who wish to send their children to private schools.
According to the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California, support is at 66 percent among public school parents.
The institute’s recent survey also finds that 69 percent of such parents, believe the current state funding level is insufficient.
However, the majority give their public schools a positive grade.
