El Portal Road, also known as Highway 140 in Yosemite National Park has been closed because of a mudslide. The CHP has no estimated time to re-open the road.
Caltrans says the road has been shutdown at the park boundary.
Rain from thunderstorms rolling through the Yosemite area are to blame.
Now motorists will have to use different entryways to get into the park, such as the south entrance on Highway 41.
