FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The percentage of Americans turning to entrepreneurship has risen to the highest level in 12 quarters, according to a new Challenger, Gray and Christmas report.
7.4 percent of job seekers chose to start their own business, at the end of 2016.
That’s the highest percentage, since the end of 2013.
Analysts say a growing job market is providing a mental safety net, for those seeking to become entrepreneurs.
They’re also benefiting from easier access to start-up capital, and low interest rates.
