DWR: Calif. Snowpack at 193% of Average

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Water content in the Sierra snowpack is now at 193 percent of average, following the recent storms.

That’s according to the latest electronic readings, from the Calif. Department of Water Resources.

Snow has been measured at over 30 feet in certain areas, with some dangerous road conditions.

Mountain residents are also being urged to shovel their roofs to avoid damage.
