FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has reversed a Fresno U.S. District Court’s decision, and upheld the 10-day waiting period for new firearms purchases.
Justices say the law does not violate the 2nd Amendment, and is a reasonable precaution.
The Golden State has had waiting period for gun purchases since 1923.
The current 10-day period was established in 1996.
