(KMJ) A Corcoran man is locked up on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, mayhem and robbery.
Corcoran PD says 34 year old Willie Carter got into a fight at a home on Whitley Avenue over the weekend and then slashed the victim with a knife.
The victim was hospitalized with serious lacerations to the face, but has since been released. Investigators say the dispute was over allegedly stolen property.
Carter is jailed on $60,000 bail.
