(KMJ) Fresno Police on Tuesday nabbed a suspected car thief, but not without a fight.
When they tried to arrest the man, who was hiding in an attic at a home on Atchison Court, his pit-bull “Tyson” attacked a K-9 officer.
A Fresno cop shot and killed the suspect’s dog. A second k-9 officer was used to apprehend Nhia Vang.
After being bitten in the leg by the K-9, Vang surrendered.
Once he is released from CRMC, he will be booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of felony auto theft and resisting arrest.
