Movie Shedding Light on Trafficking Trying To Get Special Screening in Clovis

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Child sex trafficking is more common thank you think – and a recently released movie is trying to shed light on the problem.

“The Abolitionists” follows a former special agent who rescues children who were kidnapped and put into the world of child sex trafficking, both domestically and overseas.

Promoters for the movie are trying to get enough tickets sold online for a special screening of the movie at Sierra Vista Cinemas 16 to take place on December 8th at 6:30pm. In order for the screening to take place, promoters need to sell enough tickets by December 1st.

15% of the tickets sales goes towards a charity that helps victims of child sex trafficking – and they’ll accept other donation offers at the screening.
