FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The artificial sweeteners found in many soft drinks may have a significant impact on female fertility.
British researchers, presenting a new study at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine congress, say the low-calorie alternatives can negatively impact chances of conception.
While more data needs to be collected and analyzed, experts the study’s authors say more scrutiny of food additives is needed.
