Fresno (KMJ) – Police are searching for the three men who burglarized the Southeast Fresno apartment of an elderly woman and her two daughters.
On Thursday, October 6th, at 12:13 pm, Southeast patrol officers were dispatched to a home invasion robbery, at the Evergreen Apartments on 1430 N. 11th Street.
An 89 year-old woman had gone shopping with her two daughters, 60 and 66 years of age. She was the first one to return to their apartment from shopping. She says her front door was ajar but she thought nothing of it and walked in where she interrupted three suspects ransacking her apartment.
They grabbed her and sat her down on a couch, taking her wallet, containing $200 cash along with credit cards, ID, and a laptop computer.
The victim’s daughters entered the apartment and all three women were forced into a bedroom.
The suspects sat them down on a bed, and placed pillowcases over their heads.
The men fled the apartment with the stolen property, and the two daughters chased after them.
The women told police that the suspects fled in a blue 4-door Jeep product with steel doors, last seen on Cedar Avenue near McKinley and Olive.
Police received information that the suspects were trying to use the victim’s credit cards at various locations. The suspects are wanted for burglary and robbery.
