A $1000 dollar reward is being offered to find the person responsible for torturing and killing two dogs.
On Friday, September 23rd, CCSPCA humane officers discovered the remains of the two dogs in Southwest Fresno at 41 East Walnut, near Church and Walnut Avenues.
Central California SPCA Spokesperson Walter Salvari says both large dogs appeared to have been burned alive in the back property of an abandoned home.
“When the officers arrived they noticed that it most likely looked like torture and the dogs were killed by fire.” -Walter Salvari, Central California SPCA Spokesperson.
A used butane gas can was found on scene.
“We’re asking the public to please reach out to us if you saw anything that was happening that day.” -Walter Salvari, Central California SPCA Spokesperson.
The Central California SPCA is working with the District Attorney’s Animal Cruelty Unit which will be taking over the case.

The CCSPCA is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 559-233-7722.
