(KMJ) NewsTalk 580/105.9 KMJ recently teamed with local agriculture company Gar Tootelian Inc. and Fresno-Madera Farm Credit to raise money for Fresno’s Community Food Bank, and WOW did our listeners respond!

Last Friday’s day-long broadcast at The Market Grocery Store featured KMJ hosts John Broeske, Christina Musson, Ray Appleton and Chris Daniel.
Our generous listeners came through in a huge way, donating more than $154,000 in cash! But the giving did not stop there…Gar Tootelian Inc. matched each cash donation with 50 cents for every dollar.
Gar Tootelian’s donation totaled of $77,000 – bringing our total cash donation to the Community Food Bank to $231,000!!! – Far surpassing our previous fundraisers.

The funds will help the Central Valley’s less fortunate residents by providing more than 1.5 MILLION meals.
