FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Governor Jerry Brown is set to sign a series of bills addressing climate change, on Wednesday morning in Fresno.
The legislation directs $900 million in cap-and-trade funds to greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
Those efforts include clean transportation projects, increased biomass energy production, as well as prioritizing spending in communities disproportionately affected by dirty air and carbon pollution.
