FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A valley teacher has been arrested for allegedly committing lewd and lascivious acts with a minor.
40-year-old Pete Arguijo is now on administrative leave from Clovis West High School, where he teaches math.
Fresno Police Sgt. Mark Hudson says the reported crime occurred earlier this year, and the alleged victim is not believed to be a student at Clovis West.
Arguijo has bailed out of jail.
In a statement to KMJ News, Clovis Unified vows to work closely with investigators.
