MENDOTA (KMJ) — Fresno County Sheriff’s Detectives are currently investigating a homicide in Mendota.
The Sheriff’s Office states that a woman approximately 30 years old was found dead early Wednesday morning at an apartment complex on I Street. A passer by flagged down a Mendota Police Officer, and directed them towards the injured person.
The case has been turned over to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office by the local PD, which means it is considered a Mendota homicide as opposed to a county homicide. No arrests have been made and the woman’s identity is yet to be released.
