FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Garry Bredefeld announced six key endorsements at a press conference on Thursday morning. Bredefeld, who is running for Fresno City Council District Six, announced endorsements by Police Chief Jerry Dyer, Sheriff Margaret Mims, Former Mayor Alan Autry, Former Sheriff Steve Magarian, Former Mayoral Candidate H. Spees and FUSD school board member Brooke Ashjian.
Bredefeld pointed out that Dyer has never before endorsed a candidate for city council.
Bredefeld’s opponent, Jeremy Pearce, says the voters won’t be influenced as much by endorsements, but more by the candidates themselves.
