FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Luxury electric automaker Tesla says suspension issues appear to be present in only one vehicle.

The National High Traffic Safety Administration has asked owners of the Model S to provide information about suspension failures.

However, Tesla says only one vehicle has experienced issues.

A Model S, said to be caked in dirt, with more than 70,000 miles, had an abnormal amount of rust on the suspension.

The feds have yet to open a formal investigation.
