(KMJ) – On Monday, April 25th, Fresno Police received several calls of shots fired in the area of Polk and Fairmont.
When Officers arrived around 5:45 pm, they found on man shot once in the back. During their investigation, officers learned the person responsible for the shooting was inside a nearby apartment.
Violent Crime Impact Team Officers, along with patrol officers, and a Police K-9 then surrounded the apartment.
Not long thereafter, they arrested 19-year old Montrell Skinner and recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting.
Skinner was taken into custody and booked at Fresno County Jail for: Assault with a Deadly Weapon:Firearm,
Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Probation Violation.
