FOWLER (KMJ) — A learning flight comes to a crashing end in Fresno County. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department says a small plane crashed Monday in Fowler, in a field next to Highway 99.
There were two people inside the aircraft, a flight instructor and a student, both of whom escaped the wreckage without being seriously hurt.

“As it landed, the plane tipped over and they were fortunately able to walk away just sustaining some minor injuries”, says Fresno County Sheriff’s Sergeant Adam Esmay.
The plane was headed to Sacramento when it went down.
