FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — For the second straight year, elevated levels of E. coli have been found in the water at Avocado Lake.
Fresno County officials recommend you avoid swimming in the lake until further notice.
Water samples were taken on Thursday at Avocado Lake Swim Beach.
The county says they’re working with the Central Valley Water Board to assess the quality.
