FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — An investigation is underway into what sparked another fire outside Mission Thrift in north Fresno.
This is the third fire at the thrift store in just over two weeks.
Fresno Fire crews responded to the location off of Blackstone and Sierra just after 1 pm Sunday.
That’s where they found piles of donations on fire outside, threatening one building.
Crews were able to contain the fire to the piles.
Now, the cause of this latest blaze is currently under investigation.
This comes as Mission Thrift is asking for donations after the back-to-back fires earlier this month on July 10th and 11th.
It’s estimated they lost about $120,000 worth of items that would normally be sold to support their efforts in the community, including providing shelter, food and addiction recovery resources.
The first two fires were deemed to be accidental.
