FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — Police are looking for three suspects accused of kidnapping and carjacking a man that ended in southwest Fresno.

It happened just before midnight Thursday when Clovis Police received a call of a possible kidnapping.

An investigation later determined the crime took place in Fresno.

Fresno police say the victim was home when two men and a woman entered the home and tried to rob him at gunpoint.

After saying he had no money, the suspects drove him to an ATM in the victim’s car.

The victim soon jumped out of the vehicle and called police.

That’s when the suspects took off with his car, resulting in the carjacking.

Fresno police’s helicopter spotted the car and chased it into a neighborhood near Thorne and El Dorado.

The suspects took off on foot and remain on the loose at this time.

The victim was not hurt, and there is no word on if the victim and suspects knew each other.

The investigation remains ongoing.
