FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — One person has been hospitalized after police say they were shot during a carjacking in central Fresno on Monday.
It happened shortly before noon in the area of Nevada and Fulton.
Authorities say the person was in their vehicle when someone on a bike pulled up next to them.
The person got out of the vehicle, a fight broke out and that is when police say the suspect shot the driver once and sped off in their car.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities arrested the suspect at Fresno and Kearney.
Neither the victim nor suspect have been identified.
