Puppy Rescued From Well in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A puppy has been rescued from a well in Fresno County.

The rescue efforts started just before 6:45 a.m. Wednesday on East Herndon Avenue between Highland and Thompson Avenues.

CAL FIRE crews were called to assist Fresno Humane Animal Services with the rescue.

Officials say the female puppy is part of a littler that had gotten out of its kennel.

After hours of effort, the puppy was rescued. She appeared alert as crews tended to her following the long ordeal.
