MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — More progress is being made in Planada following last year’s devastating flooding.
The US Postal Service says the town’s post office will be reopening today.
The post office has been closed for more than a year, forcing residents to travel to Merced to get their mail.
Retail services will not be available, but PO boxes will be accessible Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 7 am until 2 pm.
