FRESNO, CA (KMJ) Measure E is pitting two republican Assembly candidates against each other.
George Radanovich and David Tangipa are both running to replace termed-out Jim Patterson for the District 8 Assembly seat.
Tangipa, a political newcomer and former Bulldog football player, is voting in favor of the hotly-debated tax proposal while former longtime GOP Congressman George Radanovich is fighting the measure.
Measure E is a tax proposal for Fresno County residents that, if approved, would raise $1.4 Billion over 25 years for improvements at Fresno State. A similar proposal failed in 2022.
Both candidates made their positions clear in recent interviews on KMJ.
