FRESNO (KMJ) – In June 2022, Freddie Carrasco was gunned down while driving southbound Hwy 99 north of Olive Ave.
More than a year later, CHP investigators announce the arrest of two gang-members for the crime.
As a result of a lengthy and thorough investigation, Shamon Butler and Aquila Bailey, both from Fresno, were identified as the parties responsible for the murder of Mr. Carrasco. The investigation further revealed Butler and Bailey perpetrated this crime for the benefit of their criminal street gang.
On November 7, 2023, the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office filed murder charges with special circumstances against both Butler and Bailey.
