A 21-Year-Old Man and Three Teenagers are behind bars for a weekend shooting at a south valley park.
Just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday, Visalia police officers were called to Riverway Sports Park regarding an assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition.
A VPD patrol officer spotted the suspect vehicle near the Sports Park and a pursuit ensued. The chase continued through the city of Visalia then onto Northbound Highway 99.
The California Highway Patrol took over the pursuit and used a spike strip to end the chase in the area of Highway 99 and Clovis Ave.
Three 17-year-olds and 21-year-old Alejandro Juarez were arrested.
The three teenagers were booked into the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility and Juarez was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
