Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a 14year old boy for the murder of 55 year old Ruben Ramirez of Parlier.
The suspect is a student at Sanger West High School who, according to investigators, has ties to a criminal street gang. He has not been publicly identified.
Around 5:15 pm on Sunday, March 12th, Sheriff’s dispatchers took a call regarding a victim of a shooting. Deputies responded to the intersection of Bethel and Jefferson in Del Rey. There they located a vehicle and found Ramirez inside suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
It’s unclear what led up to the deadly shooting.
