FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — We’ve learned the name of a man killed in a crash in Fresno County.
The coroner’s office says 69-year-old James Mattos died in the collision yesterday on Dinuba and West Avenues.
The California Highway Patrol says two men were in a car when they collided into Mattos’s pick-up truck at the intersection.
Both vehicles went off the road and into an orchard.
Mattos died at the scene.
The other two men were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Officers are still investigating what led up to the crash, but say neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor.
