VISALIA, Calif. (KMJ) — Crews are currently tackling a grass fire along the St. John’s River in Visalia.
According to officials, the fire broke out around 6:20 p.m. near McAuliff Street, just along the south side of the river.
Both CAL FIRE and the Tulare County Fire Department are on scene working the fire and say crews have the fire contained to just four acres along the riverbank.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
