15-Year-Old Arrested After Fatal Shooting In Farmersville

FARMERSVILLE, Calif. (KMJ) — A 15-year-old teenager was arrested after a fatal shooting Friday in Farmersville.

According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called on August 18 to the 400 block of Outer Driver regarding a shooting.

There deputies found Blake Pecego, 19, of Tulare, with a gunshot wound inside his car.

Pecego was then rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Homicide Detectives identified a 15-year-old boy as one of two suspects responsible for the murder.

The 15-year-old was located and taken into custody without incident.

He was booked into the Juvenile Detention Facility on a murder charge.

Detectives later served a search warrant at the boy’s home, where they found more evidence linking him to the murder.
