Madera South High School Students to Unveil Little Libraries Districtwide

MADERA, CA. — Madera South High School (MSHS) Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students are taking the initiative to add Little Libraries to elementary schools across Madera Unified.

The first Little Library will be unveiled this Thursday at Alpha Elementary School.

These Little Libraries are an excellent resource for young readers to access various free books.

The small book-sharing home-like structures will be personalized depending on the school’s colors and placed in easily accessible locations on their school grounds.

MSHS FCCLA chapter has received over 1,000 books from community members to support this program.

FCCLA is a national career and technical student organization that allows members to expand their leadership potential and develop life skills.
