Wanted: Man Hits Woman During Argument In Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Fresno Police Department is investigating an assault that took place Sunday afternoon.

According to police, officers were called around 12:30 p.m. regarding a report of an assault near West Grantland.

There, officers learned that a man and woman had been arguing and the man hit the woman.

Officers say the two had left the area by the time they arrived and were last seen driving toward Shields and Cornelia Avenue in a silver pickup truck.

The Fresno Police Department is turning to the community for help because they want to make sure the woman is safe.
