Clovis Police say Jagtar Singh brutally attacked his wife and put her in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 29 year old was arrested after fleeing to Los Banos overnight, just hours after dropping his wife off at Clovis Community Hospital.
Detectives say Singh struck his wife multiple times, then cut her throat with a large kitchen knife inside their apartment near Bullard & Villa.
Signh has been booked on charges of attempted murder and domestic violence.
