California Creates Website & Phone Numbers to Report Hate Crimes

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Californians can now report acts of hate through a phone number and a website.

Governor Gavin Newsom’s office says the state is sending an unequivocal message that hate will not be tolerated here in California.

The website CAvsHate is a direct response to increased hate, especially against people of Asian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander communities.

The Governors Office says go online to CAvsHate.org or call this number; 833-8-NO-HATE for resources and more information.
