According to the Turlock Police Department, officers were patrolling the Venice Motel parking lot when they spotted someone believed to be on probation with an active arrest warrant.
Officers say they pulled his vehicle over and arrested the driver, Daniel Sossamon.
Following a search of the vehicle, the Turlock Police Department says they found over 1,000 illegal pills, along with half a pound of methamphetamine and a stolen handgun.
Sossamon was then booked into the Stanislaus County Jail where he faces multiple drug and firearm-related charges.
