Fresno Car Dealer Stabbing Suspect Identified

The knife-wielding suspect who allegedly stabbed an innocent man Wednesday morning at the Lithia Ford dealership has been identified as Manuel Bracker.

The 36 year old homeless suspect was chased out of the building on East Auto Center Drive around 8:30 A.M. after the attack. The 56-year old victim was rushed to CRMC and immediately underwent surgery for multiple stab wounds. He is listed in critical but stable condition.

Fresno PD Detectives say Bracker entered the dealership, approached the victim, who was inside a conference room with other employees, and stabbed him multiple times in the back.

Detectives determined that Bracker and the victim did not know each other.

Bracker has been booked into the Fresno County Jail for attempted homicide.
