
FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A convicted felon was arrested after police say he was found inside a stolen vehicle with a gun and eight other loaded magazines.
The Fresno Police, Career Criminal Auto Theft Team (CCATT) located a stolen vehicle on Wednesday near First St. and Shields Ave.
According to investigators, the driver pulled into a parking lot and used the stolen vehicle to ram into two CCATT cars.
During the vehicle search, detectives found a loaded gun with eight other loaded magazines.
Officials learned the driver who was not identified was an ex-gang member and a convicted felon on parole. This prohibits him from owning any type of firearm.
He is now booked into the Fresno County Jail facing multiple charges.
