
MERCED, Calif. (KMKJ) — Police are searching for three suspects they say held up a liquor store in Merced Sunday night.
The Merced Police Department received the call just after 11:30 p.m. about an armed robbery at the store located at 1230 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., near Hwy. 99.
The three men described as heavy-set Hispanic males entered the store wearing masks and ordered the clerk to give them cash at gunpoint.
The suspects also took lottery tickets and liquor before leaving in a dark-colored vehicle north towards the highway.
Nobody was injured during the robbery.
