MODESTO, Calif. (KMJ) — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a child who was reported missing Wednesday night.
12-year-old Melanie Herrera was last seen leaving her home near Carpenter and Elm Avenue in South West Modesto.
Her family says Herrera is on foot and did not tell them where she was going, and they don’t know where she could be.
Herrera is 5’3”, 100 lbs., and has red/brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing Snoopy slippers and a pink backpack.
