
(KMJ) – A Huron man is now behind bars, charged with fatally stabbing his wife.
Here are the details, as released by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office:
Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 33 year old Rafael Reynosa of Huron. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail for murder. His bail is $1 million.
Around 7:30 am on Saturday, May 28th, Huron Police responded to an apartment complex on the 16000 block of West Palmer Avenue for a report of a woman suffering from stab wounds. Officers examined the woman and determined she was deceased. She has been identified as 35 year old Bianca Reynosa.
Due to it being a homicide, the case was turned over to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit. Detectives began an investigation and identified the victim’s husband, Rafael Reynosa, as the murder suspect who was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife.
Prior to detectives arriving on scene, Rafael was transported to the hospital with minor stab wound injuries after he tried to kill himself. Following his release from the hospital, Reynosa was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
