
MADERA,CA (KMJ) Grief counselors were made available to students, staff and the community at Madera High School on Thursday, after a student was killed on his motorcycle.
Madera Police said Roberto Lopez died in a solo accident Wednesday morning on Olive Avenue near Sixth Street in Madera.
The 19-year-old was a student-athlete at Madera High School
Lopez had plans to to attend college.
Todd Lile, the superintendent of schools for the Madera Unified School District sent, out a message on Wednesday:
“As we mourn the tragic death of our student, we offer sympathy, prayers, and comfort to the family, friends, classmates, teachers, and everyone who loved him and shared in his life.”
