Homicide Investigation Follows Shooting in Tranquility

(KMJ) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has yet to make any arrests following a fatal shooting Wednesday afternoon in the town of Tranquility.

Here are the details shared in a news release from the Sheriff’s Office:

At 1:40 pm on Wednesday, dispatchers with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots being fired. Deputies responded to a home on West Lincoln Avenue, just west of South. James Road in Tranquility. Deputies were directed
to a travel trailer parked on the property. Inside they found a man who had been shot and was deceased. Deputies detained several people on the property for questioning.

Homicide detectives and members of the Crime Scene Unit arrived at the scene to begin an investigation. By speaking with the people detained, detectives hope to get a better understanding of the disturbance that took place. This should
ultimately help determine what role each person played and if any arrests will be made.
