
COALINGA, CA (KMJ) — A man who had just been released from the Fresno County Jail e ended up right back behind bars after being accused of breaking a window at a Tropicana Supermarket in Coalinga.
On August 24 around 7:45 a.m. officers arrived at the Tropicana at 555 E. Elm on a call of a broken window.
After officers confirmed the place was empty, they reviewed surveillance footage.
Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old Arturo Medina of Coalinga.
Medina had just been released from the Fresno County jail around midnight.
He was previously arrested on July 25 after being identified as a suspect in three other burglaries.
Medina was arrested around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, and was later booked for felony vandalism and committing a crime while out on bail.
Medina will be transported right back to the Fresno County jail.
