Thieves Steal Tthousands of Dollars of Baseball & Lawn Equipment from Bullard High

The Bullard High School baseball program was hit by thieves over the weekend.

Somebody cut the lock off C-train storage box and stole thousands of dollars in lawn and baseball equipment.

Some of the items stolen were lawnmowers, an aerator, a pitching machine, buckets of baseballs, and other baseball equipment.

There was no coaching staff available at the time the theft was reported to the Fresno Police Department so the list of items stolen is still pending.

Bullard Baseball Foundation and Family posted a Go Fund Me for the team to replace the equipment they say is valued at $14,000.

The Bullard baseball JV and varsity teams play at Madera South on Tuesday beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The group says Mike Noakes field is taken care of privately by friends and family of the program who donate their time.

They say Jim Sandrini also donates his time to mow the lawn at least three times a week for over 20 years.

Our team lives on donations and with Covid running havoc on our in-person fundraising efforts, the theft comes as a huge blow.

The group is hoping to raise enough money to replace the equipment to be able to maintain the baseball field.
