(KMJ) – A member of the Mexican Mafia who reportedly controlled parts of Los Angeles from his prison cell, is stabbed to death at Corcoran’s substance abuse treatment facility.
The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says two inmates attacked and stabbed 64-year old Danny Roman in the facility’s yard around 11 a.m. Wednesday. He was taken to the prison’s medical facility where he was pronounced dead.
The two inmates who attacked him have now been placed in segregated housing. And the corrections department along with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office are now investigating Roman’s killing.
